Carmina Burana

The version of the masterpiece of the composer Carl Orff that you will hear in Laredo summarizes the 15 choral episodes that form his Carmina Burana, with original accompaniment of two pianos and percussion. The verses are located in a Benedictine monastery of Beuren, a German town of Bavaria, and above all else, in the Latin of the Middle Ages. The Jesús Otero Museum in Santillana del Mar presents for you the Yuga Exhibition from the 18th to the 31st of July.

The museum is next to the collegiate church and the entrance is open and free to the public.

Schedule: Monday to Sunday mornings from 10.00 to 13.30 hours and afternoons from 16.00 to 21.00 hours

For those that are daring, El Soplao offers a fantastic way to know the depth of the underground world. A route of 2,5 hours in which visitors will travel the galleries of Campamento, the Órgano and Bosque and, among all, walking on the original floor and least accessible zones of the cave. Visitors will be overwhelmed by the variety of formations and the diversity of spaces.

Cantabria is a historic region and autonomous province in Spanish. Bordered on the east by the Basque Country (province of Biscay), the south by Castile and León (provinces of León, Palencia and Burgos), on the west by the Principality of Asturias and the north by the Cantabrian Sea. His earliest references date from the year 195 BC C., when the Roman writer Cato the Elder speaks in his Origins of the source of the river Ebro in the country of Cantabria.

The firm Silver Eagle has introduced a rehabilitation project of the Royal Golf Club Oyambre in Oyambre-yew, Borough of Valdáliga and, surprisingly, the council intends to Valdáliga once again legalize the golf course located in the Natural Park Dunes Oyambre.

It has been reported favorably by this council for processing it has been sent to the Regional Planning and Urban Development of Cantabria.

The course is built on a tongue of land that goes into the sea located in the city of Santander at the end of the Sardinero beach, near the lighthouse of Cabo Mayor. Campo is a technical, narrow and with magnificent views. Inaugurated in 1986, becoming the first municipal course in Spain.
