The Municipality of Santillana del Mar, through the Department of Youth, led by Ángel Rodríguez Uzquiza organizes a training course on graffiti techniques that will give way to a graffiti contest, scheduled for Saturday 19 September at Robleda from 16:00 hours to 20:00 hours (in case of rain, held at the premises of the Bar Santa Juliana).


Thus, as a prelude, on Thursday 17 September at the track will give a workshop Queveda completely free for boys and girls of the town with a limit of 20 attendees. The day may learn actively as painting graffiti, operation is also repeated on Friday 18 with a new course in the environment of Jesus Otero Cultural Center (in the annex building of the municipal shelter).
With this activity the City frames the upcoming exhibition at the international graffiti artist ContemporáneaRC the Cantabrian Okuda, to be exhibited in the town on 8 October to 8 November, in the agenda of spells.
The intention in addition to the launch of this initiative is, after these courses, restore degraded urban areas of the villages adjacent to the Villa by the use of this artistic technique.
