The float titled ‘Da Vinci madman or genius’, presented by Pena Tuttis, was the winner of the new edition of the contest of artistic carriages Reinosa held in connection with fairs and festivals of San Mateo 2009, getting the first prize of 3,400 euros and a special trophy.

The participating coaches were accompanied by brass bands and animated by the very rocks bodywork. The awards were presented during a ceremony held at the Plaza of Spain, at 20.00, headed by Mayor Jose Miguel District, next to the queen and maids of honor of the holidays.
The feast of St. Matthew has returned to prominence as one of the great manifestations of popular participation, both by the tradition of the festival and the quality and variety of acts. In this new edition have bodywork for ten coaches in the competition, highlighting in all sets the color and quality in the elaboration of the grounds.
