Potes is the capital and main town of the Liébana. Important cultural and tourist center, celebrated the festival in October and in September Orujo the exaltation of the Holy Cross. Tower Infantado

However, the old town of Potes still retains its medieval appearance and is one of the most spectacular historical monuments of Cantabria.

Birthplace of Jesus Monastery
