Golf Santa Marina is one of the last course designed by Severiano Ballesteros Cantabria. With this tour, Cantabria has a field of modern and competitive golf, located in a privileged and spectacular property.

It is a field with a great variety of holes and well integrated into the natural terrain. The first 9 holes are more complicated than the latter.

The first part of the trail is wider and more rewarding the game long, while in the second round we have a collection of more obstacles and water is absolutely flat. But is this second part of the route where the strategy and accuracy are more important, because we have several streams and barriers that directly affect these holes (11 to 18).

As Seve himself has said, “the greatest difficulty of the course is 13 holes 14 and 15, which compares with the famous” Amen Corner “, and if you pass these holes, the match is assured.

This field is designed to fit all types of players, it’s fun and entertaining for the higher handicaps, and may make a real test for professionals, which are actually used all the sticks from the bag.

“I’ve played in many fields and, objectively, I do not know any that has about 3 pairs to match those in Santa Marina. Moreover, 5 pairs are not complicated, except where there are 18 who think the best strategy. 4 pairs are also very full, varied and well balanced. “(Ballesteros, 2001)

“I’m very satisfied of the work. It is a natural route, which has tried to bring to bring all the special features and natural elements of the farm. “(Ballesteros, 2001)

The Golf Course has 18 holes designed by Severiano Ballesteros, has a range of services, such as driving range, paddle, club, … all casona a mountain located in the sixteenth century chapel and a seventeenth-century integrated, all in a natural area, dominated by native woodlands between streams running through the property.
